I'm a travel and style writer from London, who would usually rather be in Paris.
I've contributed to, among others: American Express Destination Guides, Budget Travel, Bust Magazine, Fathom (contributing editor), Gridskipper (weekly column), The Guardian, Harper’s Bazaar (weekly column), HiP Paris (column), Hitotoki, The Tourism Board of Paris (Comité Régional du Tourisme Paris Ile-de-France) and Metro. I'm also a copywriter for fashion and lifestyle brands.
My writing on Paris is often accompanied by my own photographs and I have a huge archive, which is always being added to. A rotating selection of images taken around Paris, mostly on film, can be found here.
I founded the blog Lola is Beauty in 2005, to cover my favourite subjects of clothes, Paris and places that are not Paris. I now post here at C / O Journal, and can be found on Instagram: @claireoldman.

I began working as a fashion stylist over fifteen years ago, styling music promos; band wardrobe for TV and live performances; commercials; print advertising; prop styling for a book; fashion consulting for a TV series and more recently, online brand films.
